Sharing Folders and Designs

We've added the capability to share folders and designs with users outside of your RapidHarness Team! This feature will allow you to share your RapidHarness work with other organizations such as contractors, manufacturers, and consultants. To begin, you simply need to follow the steps below.

1. Create a Partnership

To begin sharing your folders and designs, you will need to create a partnership between your RapidHarness Team and the partner organization. You can set this up from the File > Account > Partners menu. In here, you will simply need to provide the email address of an individual from the partner organization, and they will receive an invitation with instructions to confirm the partnership.

2. Share Your Designs

Once you have a partnership set up, you can share your folders and designs from your Library! To do this, simply select one or more folders/designs, then click the Share button in the toolbar. In this dialog, you will be able to select the Partnership desired, the permissions (Can Edit or View Only), and click the Share button. You can see all shared folders and designs by selecting the 'Shared by You' area in your Library.

3. View Shared Designs

You will also be able to see shared designs and folders from your partner organization. These items will appear in the 'Shared with You' area of your Library. In here, you can simply open and edit designs as you normally would with designs in your own Library!

Library Status Tags

We have added status tags to allow you to quickly glance at a folder or design and determine the state of each item. These tags will help identify who is editing the design, if the design is shared by your team, or if it is shared with your team.
