Design Configurations

We've added the ability to specify configurations, which allows you to assign related parts to your designs! For example, you can now associate a set of Contacts with your Connectors, and automatically add these parts when the connector is used in a Harness. Configurations have been added to Connectors, Ferrules, Quick Connect Terminals, Ring Terminals, Spade Terminals, Diodes, Resistors, and Splices!

Below you can see an example of how to add a configuration to a Connector, and assign designs to the various elements of the Connector. You can also specify a "Default" configuration that will be automatically applied when this connector is added to a harness!

When a design with configurations is added to a Harness, you can right-click on the design in the Assembly, and select "Apply Configuration" to apply the configuration by name.

Label Synchronization

We've added the ability to synchronize your Label text to match the nearest endpoint (Connector, Ferrule, Ring Terminal, etc.)! To access this, you can simply right-click on a label on a harness bundle and select "Set Text to Endpoint Name".

PDF Library

We've changed the PDF exporting tools built into RapidHarness. While these changes will be mostly transparent to your workflow, they should improve the performance of PDF the creation process!
