Creating a Custom Part

To create a Custom Part, go to File -> New -> Custom Part. In the Custom Part definition, you can specify its Part Type, Part Number, Manufacturer, Description, and associate an image with your custom part.

If included, this image will appear when added to your harness.

Adding Custom Part to a Harness

You can add a Custom Part to your harness through the Design Assembly, right click menu, or Insert section of the ribbon. Once this part is added to your harness, it will appear on your Top Level drawing as well as in your Bill of Materials.
