After Downloading...

  1. Run the installer. It takes about a minute, and doesn't need administrator rights.
  2. Create your account. Your designs live in the cloud, ready on any computer.
  3. Draw your first harness. Follow Getting Started in 10 Minutes and take it from there.

System Requirements

  • Windows 11, including Windows 11 on ARM
  • An internet connection
  • RapidHarness is lightweight, so there are no strict requirements. We suggest 500 MB of free disk space, 8 GB of RAM, and a 2-core processor at 2.5 GHz or faster. Integrated graphics are fine.
  • Using a Mac? Many customers run RapidHarness, including on Apple Silicon, inside a Windows 11 virtual machine.

Installing at Work

  • No administrator rights needed. RapidHarness installs into your own user profile, so you can install it yourself. Each person should run the installer from their own Windows account.
  • Silent install: IT can deploy it with RapidHarnessSetup.exe -s, run as the end user.
  • Firewall and proxy: RapidHarness needs outbound HTTPS (port 443) to *.rapidharness.com, and uses the proxy configured in Windows.
