New Design Library

We've added folders and a brand new interface to better help manage your Library in RapidHarness!

With this, you can now add folders and organize your designs in your new Library. The folder structure of your Library is shared with your entire team, and will update automatically as changes are made!

Folders

You can now add folders to your Library and drag and drop items into them to help organize all of your designs! Folders are added via the New button in the toolbar.

Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs at the top of your Library will show you where you are, allow you to navigate to a different location, and can be used to drag/drop items into other locations!

Search

Search is now instantaneous for designs in your library! You can continue to search for specific design types by using the Filter dropdown in the top-right corner of the search bar.

Toolbar

When you select results in your Library, you will see all the available operations to perform at the top of the Library. You can also access these options via the right-click menu.

Multiselect

You can now select multiple designs/folders simultaneously to open, move, or export drawings. To select multiple, you can click the checkbox in the left-hand column, or use the Ctrl / Shift keys.

Recycle Bin

We've also added a Recycle Bin to your Library. This special folder will contain any deleted designs (akin to Windows Recycle Bin) and give you a chance to recover any mistakenly deleted items.

Parts Folder

Any new Parts added from Octopart's library of 60+ million parts will be placed in your Home > Parts folder by default. This will help keep your Library organized as you build out your harnesses.

Adding Parts

Adding Parts to your Harnesses, Systems, and Devices (ex: Add Connector) is also much faster and more powerful. When this dialog is displayed, you will see all designs in your Library instantaneously, while Octopart results will stream in as the data is loaded.
