Resistors and Diodes
We've added the ability to add Resistors and Diodes to your harness schematics as well as create reusable Resistor/Diode components in your part library. You can add these new parts directly through the harness connection list, Design Assembly, Insert menu, or right click menus. Once added, you will be able to create connections to these components, terminating to either their positive or negative terminal. In addition to this, resistors and diodes can be grouped together (like splices) by dragging and dropping them on top of one another.
Connection Tables Now Mergeable
In your harness Top Level drawings, you can now merge and group connection tables to better control your visual layout. To merge connection tables, you can simply drag and drop them on top of one another. To reverse this, you can also split them apart by right clicking on a connection table and selecting to 'Unmerge' multiple tables.
Export System Aggregate BOM
Within System designs, we have added the new output of the Aggregate BOM included included when you Export Production Data to Excel. This new 'Aggregate' tab in the System Production Data groups and sums all parts for all constituent harnesses. This means that if you have a system with multiple different harnesses, this tab will represent a complete BOM to order/build for all of your harnesses within the system.
Export System Signal Nets
Within System designs, we have added the new output of the system Signal Nets included included when you Export Production Data to Excel. This new 'Signal Nets' tab in the System Production Data shows the output of the Signal Nets tab within your system. In particular, this will show all electrical nets (as propagated through connector matings in systems) so you can validate this information in a tabular form.
