New Custom Part Design

You can now save and reuse Custom Parts, as well as share them in your design library. When you create a new Custom Part, you can specify its Part Type, Part Number, Manufacturer, Description, and associate an image with your part. Once this part is added to your harness, it will appear on your Top Level drawing as well as in your Bill of Materials.

New Bill of Materials Page

All harness designs will now have an additional Bill of Materials tab. This new separate page is ideal for large harness designs where turning off the Top Level BOM would free up a lot of space. The new BOM page can also use your existing Table Templates.

Bill of Materials Customizations

Additionally, you can now override the computed data in the Bill of Materials. When you modify the Items in your BOM, this change will be reflected in all drawings as well as your exported production data. To launch this dialog, you can simply click Edit BOM in the toolbar, or right click and select “Edit Table” from the BOM in your drawings.

Table Template Updates (formerly Wiring Table Template)

Table Templates can now be shared between your Wiring Table diagrams as well as the new Bill of Materials page. In addition, you can add text boxes to your Table Templates and Drawing Templates with the text $PART_NUMBER$ or $DESCRIPTION$ which will be automatically replaced with their specified parameters within your harnesses and systems.
