Move Text and Lengths Around
You can now reposition lengths and reference designators to best fit your harness layout. To move these items around, simply click each one and drag. You'll notice that when an individual text is selected, you will have a temporary line showing you what element the text is associated with.
Rotate Connectors, Terminals, and Images
You can also now rotate connectors, splices, loose wire ends, ferrules, images, and ring/spade/quick-connect terminals. Simply select an individual component and click and drag the rotation symbol to change the object's orientation.
Add Description to BOM Table
In your Harness BOM Table, you can now specify to show the Description field as a column in your table. The description is pulled directly from the design definition, or from the Description field of any custom parts. To add this column, simply right click on your BOM table to select the columns and ordering you want.
Quickly Reverse Connections
You can now reverse the From and To endpoints of one or more connections. To do so, select the connections you want to reverse, right click, and choose 'Reverse From/To'. This operation will keep all conductor assignments, physical routing, lengths, and coverings.
Default Colors for Device Designs
You can now specify a default color for all your devices. When a new device is added to a system (or an existing device is updated in the system), it will be displayed in the new color.
Overriding Device Colors in Systems
In addition to specifying default colors for a device in its design, you can also override the color in a system by clicking on the color swatch next to it in the System Assembly and selecting a new color.
Harness Bundle Colors in Systems
You can also specify the bundle coloring for each Harness within your System. To do so, click on the new color swatch next to the Harness in the System Assembly and select a new color. Colors can be used to quickly identify different harnesses and devices, or for additional schematic clarity.
