Cable Wire Labels

You can now label cable wires that use numbering or indexing to identify individual wires. To add wire labels, select an individual wire in your cable design and fill out the ‘Wire Label’ field as shown below.

When you add your cable to a new harness, will see the wire label on each conductor in the Connections list as well as in your Wiring Table.

Automatic Connection Advancement

Now, when you create a new connection in your harnesses, RapidHarness will automatically recommend your next connection and conductor. If you’re making harnesses with several splices or sequential connections, this feature should make initial harness creation much faster!

Enhanced Context Menus

When working in your harness Top Level, we have added several new features to the right click context menu. If you select an individual component in your top level, you will have the ability to change its design, add relevant designs, rename, and delete the selected item.

And with nothing selected, you will have some quick actions to add additional components to your harness.

Shortcut to Create New Designs

Finally, if you search for a part that is not in our library of components, we’ve added a quick feature that will let you create a new design directly when selecting or opening a design.
